Hudson is developing a partnership with Trine University’s Physical Therapy Program in order to offer students the opportunity to study the benefits of hydrotherapy with a hands-on experience.

Executives from Hudson Aquatic Systems met with Thomas Gus Almonroeder, PT, DPT, PhD, assistant professor, September 7^th to discuss an on-going arrangement for possible case studies and research that Hudson and Trine will be collaborating on together.

Specifically, students will be utilizing the AquaFit Plus underwater treadmill system and gaining hands on experience. Students will conduct studies on the benefits of aquatic therapy, as well as heart rate studies. Both Trine and Hudson hope the program will progress to multiple semesters and possibly expand to other departments.
