Hudson Sponsors CHI University Canine Rehabilitation Certification Track

Posted

CHI University offers a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinarian Program (CCRV), 125-hour RACE Approved, that trains and certifies licensed veterinarians and vet school students in veterinary rehabilitation for canines. This course teaches veterinarians how to diagnose neurological and musculoskeletal deficits and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans for canine patients.

To give participants first-hand experience with the benefits of aquatic therapy for rehabilitation, Hudson Aquatic Systems sponsored the wet lab for Session 2 of 4 on April 7-10, 2022, by having an AquaPaws underwater treadmill system at the on-site session held in Reddick, Florida. The full class of 40 veterinary professionals attended the three day course, a combination of labs and lectures required for certification provided by Hudson, DigiTHERM, HERO Bracing, Respond Laser, Companion Laser, and Piezowave.

“We appreciate being involved in the lectures and providing hands-on expertise for the wet labs along with other first class companies in order to provide the best possible education experience,” said George Hunter, president of Hudson Aquatic Systems. “We believe aquatic therapy is an important component of any rehabilitation.”
