Twelve years ago, her mother Marla had a barrel racing horse that broke a bone in one of its legs. After getting surgery in Saskatoon, the vet recommended hydrotherapy to treat some atrophy the horse had from wearing a cast. Unfortunately, the nearest AquaPacer was all the way in Calgary. The horse was able to recover, but it took time.
