Description
The Chlorine Test Kit includes a 24 page booklet with a test log for recording chemical testing results. Also included are a re-usable color comparator and 7-in-1 set of test strips.
This kit tests for total hardness, total chlorine, total bromine, free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, and cyanuric acid (stabilizer).
- Total Hardness – A proper hardness level that keeps water from causing corrosion or scaling.
- Total chlorine – Knowing your total chlorine level will help you determine when to shock (when compared to the free chlorine level).
- Total bromine – Keeps total bromine levels in the ideal range to ensure clean water.
- Free chlorine – An ideal level of free chlorine keeps water sparkling clean.
- pH – A proper pH level keeps water from causing corrosion or scaling.
- Total Alkalinity – A correct level of total alkalinity prevents sudden pH changes.
- Cyanuric Acid (stabilizer) – An ideal level of Cyanuric Acid protects against chlorine loss caused by sunlight.

- Dip and remove strip.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Compare pads to color chart on the bottle.
